Role Overview:

We're seeking a motivated, mid-senior level QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our mobile and web applications through testing, automation, and collaboration with multiple teams across the company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced startup and take on the challenge of building a QA team in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test our weekly mobile release candidates to ensure quality and functionality.
• Drive improvements in our test automation processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Test our mobile release candidates
• Coordinate with Developers, Product Managers and Customer Success about the various features which get released.
• Exploratory testing of our web and mobile applications.
• Monitor and reproduce our reported bugs and escalate if necessary.
• Attend team ceremonies and connect with developers and product managers on issues which may arise.
Required Experience:
• 3-5+ years experience with testing across different platforms, operating systems, browsers, and devices.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of mobile app testing methodologies and emulation tools.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Experience with creating and maintaining Test Case Management suites.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience with mobile release process (Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console)
• Experience in managing a small QA team before
• Ability and motivation to take on the responsibility of building and leading a QA team in the future.

• You hunt down bugs and you don't let them off the hook.
• You are very thorough and detail oriented.
• You have a great sense for UX and great empathy for how users are using our applications.
• You love to collaborate closely with developers and product managers and are quick to hop on on a call and discuss an issue.
• You are tech-savvy and figure out our creative way to test things.
• You're always looking for new edge cases.
Salary Range: $80,000-120,000
