Join Our Team as a Millwright at Johnson Electric! 

Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada (onsite)
Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 per year
Vacancy Type: New Position
Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay, where applicable

Travel: Minimal

As our next Millwright, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining, refurbishing, and repairing all production equipment and facilities. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls installation will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and repair facilities and production equipment.

  • Work with other team members to implement new or modified production machines.

  • Ensure operational quality and efficiency targets are maintained.

  • Maintain Quality Operating Systems with respect to equipment maintenance as per ISO/IATF 16949 Standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A skilled trade certificate and/or relevant industrial experience.

  • Hands-on technical skills in Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic systems, PLC and CNC based control and logic systems, welding, and basic manual machining skills.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on QS9000 Operating Systems.

  • Excellent communication, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
