Job Title: Level 3- Maintenance Fully Skilled (CofQ)
Job Summary
The Level 3 – Maintenance Fully Skilled position is responsible for maintaining industrial machinery and equipment. This includes preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates at optimal performance to support production goals.
Responsibility
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues in various types of industrial machinery, including conveyor systems, pumps, motors and automated systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to an established schedule.
- Repair and replace defective parts, including bearings, gears, belts, motors etc.
- Install new machinery and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Set up machinery and equipment for optional performance.
- Conduct precision alignments and adjustments of machinery.
- Execute mechanical rebuilds of the machinery and components
- Close work orders using maintenance tracking system.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate of qualification in a related trade, 443A Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum two years of experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Fully capable of Level 1 – Maintenance Labourer and Level 2 – Maintenance Semi Skilled responsibilities.
