Your role, your impact

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Finance Consultant, you’ll own the finance workstream across the full implementation lifecycle, from project kick-off through go-live and hypercare. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll guide clients in designing and delivering finance solutions that align with their operational needs and drive business value. 

Join our growing Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations practice, where you’ll work alongside seasoned ERP professionals who invest in each other’s success while contributing to complex manufacturing engagements.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

Client Delivery & Leadership

  • Lead the finance workstream, acting as the primary point of contact for client finance stakeholders;

  • Build trusted relationships through clear communication, executive presence, and proactive issue management;

  • Facilitate workshops, process design sessions, and end-user training;

  • Mentor junior team members and support the application of implementation best practices. 

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Configure and validate D365 F&O finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Inventory & Manufacturing Costing);

  • Design solutions aligned with manufacturing finance processes (standard costing, variance analysis, catch weight);

  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and collaborate with technical teams on gap solutions;

  • Document processes, fit/gap analysis, and configuration decisions;

  • Support testing activities (system, integration, UAT) and coordinate issue resolution;

  • Guide clients on data migration activities and support readiness for deployment.

Qualifications

Keys to your success

  • 4+ years of hands-on D365 F&O experience, including 3+ full-cycle implementations;

  • Strong expertise across core finance modules and manufacturing costing processes;

  • Proven experience delivering finance implementations in the manufacturing sector;

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence client decisions;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with executive stakeholders;

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment;

  • Willingness to travel within North America (30–50%), with occasional international travel as required.

Extra edge

  • CPA designation or Controller-level industry experience;

  • Experience with Catch Weight processing in D365 F&O;

  • Experience with financial reporting tools (Management Reporter, SK Global, Power BI);

  • Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies (Sure Step, Activate, Agile). 

Language skills

  • English: Proficient

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with clients outside of Quebec.
