This role works in the Toronto office (2300 Yonge St) one to two days per week and remote three to four days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition & Prospecting: Drive revenue growth by proactively identifying, targeting, and closing net-new accounts, focusing predominantly on non-prescription pharma, OTC, consumer health, and wellness brands.
  • Consultative Outbound Sales: Lead discovery sessions with brand managers, marketing executives, and agency partners to uncover gaps in their go-to-market strategies and position tailored multi-platform solutions.
  • Integrated Program Design: Create high-value, integrated programs across the four-brand portfolio, magazine and digital media campaigns, custom content, and proprietary research programs.
  • Pitching & Deal Closing: Drive the end-to-end sales cycle through consistent outbound outreach, weekly consultative client meetings, and data-driven pitch presentations that secure net-new business.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in Ad Orbit, ensuring accurate pipeline forecasting, rapid lead follow-up, and active prospect tracking.
  • Industry Representation & Prospecting: Attend key healthcare, OTC, and consumer pharma trade shows to actively generate new leads, build an expansive network, and establish brand presence (approx. 30% travel).
  • Execution Alignment: Partner with internal production and campaign execution teams post-sale to ensure flawless onboarding and kickoff for newly acquired client programs.
  • Market & Sector Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics specific to the non-prescription, OTC, and consumer health commercial landscapes.
Requirements
  • Sales Success: 3+ years of proven success in B2B media sales, event sponsorships, or marketing solutions, with a track record of net-new business generation, cold prospecting, and closing enterprise-level programs.
  • Consultative Selling: Expertise in consultative selling, with a demonstrated ability to navigate multi-stakeholder purchasing decisions and overcome complex sales objections.
  • Process Rigor & AI Efficiency: Demonstrated ability to drive rigorous discovery processes while leveraging AI tools and CRM automation across the sales pipeline to streamline prospecting, increase forecast accuracy, and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Industry Focus: Experience in healthcare, OTC/non-Rx pharma, or consumer health is preferred. Deep familiarity with non-Rx brand dynamics, marketing channels, and commercial decision-makers is a major plus.
  • Technical & Analytical: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Ad Orbit or similar) for pipeline management and forecasting, combined with strong analytical acumen to build data-driven sales pitches.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with high organizational discipline and fast-paced follow-through.
  • Bilingual: French fluency is preferred.
  • Education & Travel: Bachelor’s degree required. Willingness to travel up to 30% for industry events, client meetings, and trade shows.

Compensation: up to $100,000 CAD (salary + commission). The commission plan is uncapped. Our salary ranges are determined by role, skills, experience, education and location.
