What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement customer journeys, triggers, and campaign logic to ensure relevant communications across all channels (email, SMS, push notifications)

  • Build complex customer segmentations to tailor communication throughout the customer lifecycle and business objectives across lead generation, retention, winback

  • Review and optimize the customer journeys to be more relevant, timely, and personalized – send the right message to the right person at the right time, on the right channel! 

  • Maintain data quality across B2C/B2B databases with support from the Data Team and Salesforce Team

  • Maintain Book of Best Practices for marketing automation journeys to document key learnings and strategies for knowledge sharing 

  • Ensure that all global marketing communications comply with relevant legislation (eg. CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)

Desired skills and experience:

Must haves

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in email marketing or marketing automation strategy and execution

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation tools

  • Strong ability to develop mastery of in-platform technology skills

  • Proficient in manipulating and formatting large datasets

  • Proven analytical skills to interpret data to generate insights and recommendations on audience segmentation and data capture

  • Highly organized with proven campaign management skills of multiple projects in a highly collaborative environment

  • Strong attention to detail but also able to step back and see the larger, strategic picture

Nice to haves

  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Problem solver, resourceful, and takes initiative
