About The Role

 

HUB International has a dynamic Marketing Specialist role reporting to the AVP, Personal Insurance, Group to support Personal Insurance across Ontario. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced corporate environment and want to make an impact, this may be the role for you!  Superior people, organizational, communication and analytical skills are essential for this position. This is a great opportunity to support our Personal Insurance programs with effective marketing support.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with both AVPs to develop strategy and innovative, practical ways to generate leads and grow the group book, working within current technology and a group-focused model
  • Gather, structure, and write the information behind group presentations, and produce the client-facing presentations, proposals, and pitch materials for the AVP to deliver – owning narrative, design, and brand quality.  
  • Prepare RFP responses and supporting materials.
  • Prepare contracts and supporting documentation for new and renewing group programs
  • Plan and support webinar set-ups and the preparation of onsite materials for group meetings and events
  • Build and maintain web landing pages for new and existing groups, in partnership with Corporate Marketing
  • Develop and support new marketing and growth initiatives for the group space, translating ideas into executable plans
  • Work with Legal, BOST, and other internal teams to ensure campaigns, materials, programs, and contracts are compliant
  • Partner with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure all materials are on-brand and compliant before release
  • Maintain the sales-enablement toolkit – proposal templates, pitch materials, and sell sheets – for the leaders and producers
  • Research group-market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into recommendations
  • Support onsite and event logistics, and assemble routine internal decks and materials

  • Track, analyze and report on Campaign performances again ROI and revenue targets
  • Support marketing ideation with regional PI leaders

What You’ll Need for Success

  • Post-Secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a corporate environment in marketing support role dealing with internal and external clients, data analytics, event management, campaign launches, etc.
  • Experience supporting business development teams with sales enablement materials
  • Familiarity with Canadian P&C or group insurance landscape is a strong asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other systems: Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Survey Monkey, Dynamics (other Marketing email distribution platforms), Adobe InDesign or Photoshop is an asset
  • Experience with video creation and editing tools (Canva, Adobe or similar)
  • Strong interpersonal (presentations), verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Creative, innovative thinker and solutions focused
  • Intellectually curious, driven to learn, resourceful
  • Excels in a multi-deadline, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to be proactive, anticipatory, and handle confidential material
  • Strong team player who has the ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $72,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
