The Work
Reporting to the Director, Business Marketing, the Marketing Manager, Personal Lending will play a central role in driving growth across Equitable Bank’s Personal Lending portfolio (primarily Single-Family Residential mortgages). This role leads the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that support digital channels, broker engagement, and sales-focused campaigns.
The Marketing Manager will oversee the annual communications calendar, manage content and campaigns across all core digital and broker-facing channels, and develop marketing materials that enhance acquisition and support broker and customer engagement. The role may include leadership of up to two direct reports, and requires strong collaboration with Creative Services, Digital, Sales, Credit, and external vendors. A passion for operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and hands-on execution is essential.
The Core Responsibilities!
- Develop and manage the annual marketing communication calendar across email, website, and social media channels.
- Lead the development and ongoing updates of broker support materials including product sheets, program documents, and communication templates.
- Create marketing content and tools that help brokers educate clients and generate leads for Personal Lending products.
- Lead the execution of digital content by partnering with Creative Services and managing external content producers.
- Manage the execution of promotional strategies and marketing campaigns for SFR offers across all marketing channels, including email, website, social media, and events.
- Own the annual promotions calendar, track campaign performance, and synthesize insights and learnings.
- Build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with business priorities and acquisition goals.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on channel performance, generating insights and recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.
- Ensure all marketing outputs adhere to brand standards, compliance requirements, and quality expectations.
- Produce and present performance reporting through dashboards, Excel reports, and presentations.
- Conduct competitive and market research to inform product positioning, promotional planning, and broader marketing strategies.
- Support Sales and other internal stakeholders through the creation of presentations, collateral, and other materials as required.
- Write clear and detailed creative briefs for internal teams and agency partners.
- Manage the execution of email deployments in partnership with Creative Services and Email teams.
- Lead, coach, and support up to two direct reports, fostering growth, accountability, and a high-performance team culture.
- Contribute to a culture of experimentation, testing new ideas and applying insights to continuously improve performance.

- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
- 5+ years' experience in a marketing focused role (financial services experience a plus).
- Advanced MS Office skills with a particular focus on creative top-notch PowerPoint presentations.
- Proven ability to thrive in a self-driven, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, changing priorities and minimal direction.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools to monitor industry social media and competitor websites, generating content ideas, and enhancing workflows.
- Exceptional writing skills and strong editing and proofreading abilities.
- Experience managing external partners including marketing agencies, creative teams, and media vendors.
- The ability to shift priorities quickly, manage tight timelines and be relentless in your desire to get the job done.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise between a variety of stakeholders and the capacity to work across various levels and departments in the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
