You will help execute marketing projects and event programs that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement and support our goals. You will coordinate event logistics, manage promotional merchandise orders, handle vendor communications, coordinate community engagement opportunities, and support administrative tasks to ensure seamless project delivery. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Corporate Events & Sponsorships.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $48,000 - $67,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Support the planning and coordination of corporate events, industry conferences, sponsorship activations and internal events (e.g. National Sales Conference).

  • Support Moneris’ charitable partners through the coordination of corporate volunteer days, in-kind gifting, and sponsorship activations. 

  • Support event logistics including venue selection, registration management, vendor coordination, shipping and on-site set-up.

  • Coordinate production of event materials such as signage, booth collateral and presentations.

  • Help maintain event calendars, tasks lists and timelines (workback schedules), ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Support onsite event execution, including managing registration desks, troubleshooting and coordinating staff.

  • Manage orders of branded promotional items for events, sponsorships and other programs, working with approved vendors to source, quote, order and track merchandise, ensuring delivery and quality control.

  • Contribute to the marketing plan roadmap throughout the year.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in an event coordination, marketing support or administrative role.

  • Experience with CRM, event management tools, or inventory systems is an asset (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent, Eventbrite, PheedLoop).

  • Digital fluency (Basic).

  • Marketing data literacy (Basic).

Nice-to-have...

  • Experience coordinating corporate or industry events.

  • Basic knowledge in the payment industry considered an asset.
