Job Profile: The Manufacturing Data Analyst supports Factory of the Future and Industry 4.0 initiatives by leveraging data, analytics, and AI technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and operational performance. Working closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams, this role develops data-driven solutions and actionable insights that support smart manufacturing and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

- $90,000 - $125,000 annual compensation
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on AI and Industry 4.0 projects, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, C Sharp with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, deep learning frameworks, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is desirable.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to present complex data insights effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineers, and manufacturing personnel.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience or knowledge of exterior trim parts manufacturing process, specifically co-extrusion, assembly, and molding, is preferred.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead industry 4.0 and AI initiatives by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing data-driven solutions that optimize manufacturing processes across molding, assembly, and co-extrusion processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, IT, and automation teams to integrate digital technologies and analytics into production systems
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure including ETL pipelines, databases, SQL queries, and data environments to support manufacturing analytics and AI applications.
- Collect, validate, and manage production data from multiple sources, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning and AI models to improve quality, productivity, predictive maintenance, process control, and operational efficiency.
- Perform statistical analysis, experimentation, and predictive modeling to identify trends, solve business problems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, security, and documentation standards while maintaining data systems and workflows
