About the Team
Our Talent Acquisition team is at the forefront of attracting, engaging and retaining great talent that is passionate about changing banking for good. We provide a best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring teams, and we have fun along the way. Our culture and people are integral to our growth and success and this Manager will spearhead our efforts in recruiting professional and experienced hires.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and as a pivotal member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, you will coach and lead recruiting professionals from sourcing top tier talent to negotiating offers. With a keen eye for identifying exceptional candidates, you will leverage innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of talent. Collaborating closely with business leaders, you'll ensure alignment on business objectives and delivering results.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strategic recruitment plan to achieve the workforce needs of today and to sustainably serve our future growth
  • Partner with senior leaders in the business to identify organizational talent needs in a technology centered, data driven and digitally oriented organization
  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration inspiring team members to perform at their best, leveraging diverse strengths and talents to achieve shared goals
  • Partner with the talent brand team to position Capital One as a destination for top talent.
  • Deliver with impact and operational excellence in a high performing team with a process optimization and metrics driven mindset
  • Drive a positive candidate experience from application stage to joining on day one

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting - full life cycle, research, and sourcing
  • 5+ years of experience in Client Management
  • 2+ years of experience in People Management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong pulse on the recruitment landscape for key job families (Process Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Legal and Compliance)
  • Strategic orientation with proven ability to set a vision, chart a path and execute with high impact
  • Proven track record of successfully leading high performing teams, demonstrating the ability to cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Influential partner who leads with data informed solutions to obtain buy-in from multiple stakeholders and inform business decisions
  • Strong bias for optimization and driving continuous improvement
  • Highly proficient with use of recruitment tools (e.g. Workday) and technologies (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter)

The expected annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $148,400. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
