This is a hybrid opportunity in Mississauga, ON.


What you get to do every day

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Work with Business Development for vendor alliances.
  • Conduct RFIs, RFPs, and competitive bidding processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and evaluate supplier proposals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships for performance and reliability.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts and SLAs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

What kind of person should you be?

  • Meticulous in designing, implementing, and assessing ITSM processes and workflows.
  • Collaborative in working seamlessly with various stakeholders to ensure integrated IT operations.
  • Quick in resolving issues and optimizing resources to minimize downtime.
  • Proactive in centralizing, developing, and utilizing dashboards, key metrics, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
  • Diligent in overseeing ITSM governance with a focus on ITIL best practices compliance.
  • Skilled in developing and delivering training programs and providing operational guidance.
  • Clear in effectively communicating process changes, improvements, and performance metrics.
  • Committed to ensuring ITSM processes comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Strategic in designing programs and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurring problems.

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and conducting complex negotiations.
  • Proven track record of delivering sourcing savings and value creation.
  • Excellent communication skills for developing strong relationships with business partners and vendors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for efficiency and outstanding results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of best practices and industry standards in sourcing and procurement.
