What you'll be doing 

Reporting to the Director, Platform Strategy, you will be a critical partner to senior leadership as we build the bank of the future. This role is designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, and executive communications—helping shape priorities, drive governance, and enable transformation across the eCRM Enablement portfolio.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

  • Strategic governance & portfolio management - Develop a deep understanding of eCRM Enablement operations, including strategic direction, business roadmaps, and performance metrics. Own the governance model that ensures alignment and accelerates transformation initiatives.

  • Executive communications & leadership support - Partner with the VP and senior leaders to craft compelling narratives and executive-ready materials that articulate strategy and impact. Prepare leadership for high-profile forums—board updates, cross-functional reviews, and strategic planning sessions.

  • Operational excellence & knowledge management - Track and record key decisions, actions, and outcomes across initiatives. Maintain a centralized knowledge repository for easy access to critical information. Coordinate the team’s operating cadence, including engagement planning, retrospectives, and reporting.

  • Process improvement & cross-functional collaboration
    Identify and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and impact. Confidently partner with diverse functional groups, engaging the right subject matter experts and resolving ambiguity where it exists.

 

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 1-2 years of work experience with executive presentations, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.

  • You can demonstrate 4 to 6 years of work experience in strategy, business management, or consulting roles. It’s an asset if you have this relevant experience within financial services industry.

  • You can demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills with strong organizational and project management capabilities and have high attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are a strategic operator and can balance big-picture thinking with operational discipline to deliver measurable outcomes.

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with precision.

  • You build trust across teams and inspire alignment through relationships and influence. You proactively seek opportunities to streamline processes and elevate impact.
