Job Description:

The Manager, Sales Operations Business Intelligence has ownership of Mars Canada's cross segment DdasS and Data Lake assets.  This role is responsible for developing necessary enhancements, troubleshooting existing solutions, and managing the organization's central Analytics repository.  You will work with our Segment Technical Program Management (TPM) leads to ensure teams are sufficient to leverage our existing tools.

In this role, you will also be responsible to lead our Mars Canada Snacking Analytical Roadmap.  You will leverage Global and Central teams to determine the best strategy for the function and how we evolve our technology within our business.  This is a critical role in the development and technical management of our Mars Snacking Reporting Systems, including Power Bi, TPM, Kinaxis, and any other Cloud Based solutions.

This role is based in Bolton with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including remote work.

What are we looking for?

  • University or College degree
  • 3-5 years of Business Intelligence and/or Digital Technology experience
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms such as GCP/ AWS/ Azure.
  • Experience with big data architectures and data modeling to efficiently process large volumes of data.
  • Experienced in ELT and ETL data processing with Spark / PySpark
  • Experienced working with data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI / Tableau / Plotly, Data Bricks.
  • Well versed in programming languages like SAS, R, Python, MATLAB, Java, etc.
  • Proficient in SQL Query Designs and Database Systems like Oracle/ MS SQL / MySQL, and familiar with OLAP Cubes tabular data model expressions like DAX/MDX.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Digital Strategy for Mars Snacking Canada:

  • Owns the Digital Product roadmap to ensure digital technology is a competitive advantage.
  • Participate in global digital teams to help lead any Canada specific implementations.
  • Lead Canadian ecosystem and long-term strategy for the Segment.
  • Support cross functional partners with technical system/ process constraints/deliveries as a SME.

Sales Operations BI Lead for Mars Canada:

  • Deliver support and maintenance to existing Sales Ops Power BI Solutions requiring upkeep on automations, Power BI front-end modifications, supporting Key User manual flat file adjustments, user RLS administration tasks.
  • Provide ownership and stakeholder engagement for the Central Analytics Repository (Analytics HUB) to cover new additions to total org BI Catalogue/Portfolio.
  • Lead development migration of existing Sales Ops to Azure Cloud Resources.
  • Ensure data accuracy and up-hold Single Source of Truth.
  • Ownership of central repository to capture all Mars Snacking Tools (Analytics Hub Canada).
  • Market key user for TPM Source Agnostic.
