What is the opportunity?
You will champion the use of innovative and leading edge marketing practices, that will drive acquisition, awareness and engagement results through the execution of high profile and high impact plans while supporting the development of brand marketing strategies and communications plans for regional execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring knowledge and executional expertise to continue to position RBC as a leader in a very dynamic and competitive marketplace.
The Manager Regional Marketing’s primary role is to assist the regional teams with tactical development and execution of marketing plans related regional and national sponsorships, creation and management of marketing asset for partnership activation and support high valued client events.
What will you do?
- Manage the promotion and positioning of RBC’s brand, across all creative elements, ensuring it represents the voice of the client and balances the master brand with any products, programs or service brands.
- Support regional planning and execution of regional and national sponsorships.
- Support the on-going planning and implementation of branch merchandising assets with the regions, CPM and retail merchandising.
- Support the integrated regional planning in coordination with national office, enterprise brand and citizenship teams.
- Works with regions, national office and enterprise to ensure regional campaigns and marketing assets are on brand, on time and on budget
- Support the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing plans that engages both traditional and cutting-edge channels.
- Optimize and manage budgets and resources by working with the broader marketing teams, line of business partners and platforms to look for synergies and points of integration
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Post-Secondary (college or university) degree preferably in Marketing, Business or Communications
- 2+ years of direct marketing experience (including direct mail and email marketing)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Experience working with agencies effectively sharing creative briefs, managing the creative process, with a creative eye and keen attention to detail
- Experience with event management and client hosting
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity and experience with project management tools and excel
- Support campaign measurement, assessment, and continuous response alignment
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
