Manager, Product Strategy for Partnerships

Mastercard’s Services organization develops and delivers world-class security products and services for customers across the globe. Among the organization's goals, safeguarding all aspects of safety and security in payments with new products, services and standards is a key driving force.
Fraud and chargebacks disrupt the entire payments ecosystem, driving both card issuers and merchants to focus on resolving disputes instead of increasing card acceptance and revenue.
Ethoca Alerts(“Alerts”) is a collaborative tool that connects merchants, acquirers and issuers together to share fraud and dispute data, enabling a faster dispute resolution process that reduces the need for chargebacks altogether.
Ethoca Consumer Clarity (“Clarity”) changes the dialogue creating a rich environment for issuers and merchants to engage cardholders post transaction reducing frustration and driving repeat spend. The Manager, Product Management, Partner Product will lead one or more products in the Clarity portfolio, defining the product road map, managing and operating the product in market in partnership with the sales and engineering organizations.
Partners are a unique type of customer integral to Ethoca’s ecosystem. These include acquirers, financial processors, and dispute management platforms—organizations that enable and enhance the functionality of our solutions for end users. Partners leverage our products to deliver value-added services to their own customers, often acting as intermediaries in the financial ecosystem. Their needs are distinct from traditional customers, requiring tailored solutions that align with their specialized business models and operational frameworks.
The Manager, Product Strategy for Partnerships will help define and lead product strategy, as it relates to Ethoca’s partners customers. Responsibilities will include - a hand in defining product road maps, influencing product timelines, collaborating with the sales, technology and broader product organizations to ensure customer requirements and new feature requests are adequately being delivered.
The Manager, Product Strategy for Partnerships will be at the forefront of driving innovation and alignment for our partner customers. In this role, you will work collaboratively with:
Partner Customers: Understand their unique business challenges, opportunities, and requirements to ensure our products deliver exceptional value.
Partnership-Focused Sales Teams: Align with sales teams to effectively understand, prioritize, and communicate partner capabilities to both customers and internal teams.
Internal Product Teams: Serve as the voice of the partner customer, capturing and translating requirements into actionable product enhancements.
This role requires a curious, thoughtful and analytical person with drive and passion for payments, fraud and customer experience:
Lead the rapid evolution of the product strategy, as it relates to our partner customers, and ensure that our rich value proposition is fully delivered through our existing and current solutions.
Manage all aspects of the partner product strategy including the P&L, analysis, pricing, recommendations and implementation, solution packaging and overall commercialization.
Establish and maintain strong two-way communications with our go-to-market teams, internal product and sales teams, as well as partner customers
Support the evaluation, piloting and launch of new capabilities in each region; establish feedback and continuous improvement processes; develop regional product launch playbooks.
Monitor and assess risk of both existing and emerging competitive solutions, seeking to differentiate core capabilities, features and functions to ensure consistent competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Develop clear, convincing and data-driven business cases for significant new growth investments; and
Collaborate with partners to gather and document business requirements and workflows.
Work closely with sales and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and enablement for partners.
Act as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams to define, prioritize, and deliver product features.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver partner-centric product solutions.
Continuously monitor partner feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
All About You: The ideal candidate will have broad and extensive experience with:
Experience in the Payments, Card Fraud, Ecommerce, Financial Services is desired, experience in Technology product management is a must;
Optimally, has ideated, designed, built, launched, and monitored the success of a v1 product and/or has defined product strategy as it relates to one or more products.
Ability to hit the ground running, adapt quickly and take an action-oriented, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to execution that focuses on measurable results.
Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently and constructively challenges team to drive continuous improvement.
Exceptional commitment to product management discipline and best practices; process-oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal teamwork and external products delivered to the market.
Hands-on, resourceful and nimble with a track record turning strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
Experience working and presenting to external-facing customers, especially large enterprise organizations
