Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management

The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.
Fraud and chargebacks disrupt the entire payments ecosystem, driving both card issuers and merchants to focus on resolving disputes instead of increasing card acceptance and revenue. Ethoca Consumer Clarity (“Clarity”) changes the dialogue, creating a rich environment for issuers and merchants to engage cardholders post-transaction, reducing frustration and driving repeat spend.
The Manager, Product Management, Product will be responsible for leading initiatives for our hero product, Subscription Controls, in the Clarity portfolio, performing market discovery, driving product improvements, commercialization, and monitoring the success of the product business, all in collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales organizations. In this role, you will work closely with our customers to define and drive requirements, as well as guide business architecture and go-to-market execution, and be a primary advocate for your product. This position reports to the Director of Product.
This role requires a curious, thoughtful, and analytical person with drive and passion for payments, fraud, and customer experience:

• Lead the rapid evolution of your products and ensure that our rich value proposition is fully delivered
• Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the product roadmap, prioritizing work to deliver against key areas of focus
• Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and surface any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget
• Leverage data & dashboards to quickly identify Product performance challenges, making recommendations on proposed action plans
• Be the market face for your products with internal global sales teams, and with Ethoca’s merchant and card-issuing customers
• Establish and maintain strong two-way communications with our go-to-market teams, customers and partners
• Support the evaluation, piloting and launch of new capabilities for your products;
• Monitor and assess risk of both existing and emerging competitive solutions, seeking to differentiate core capabilities, features and functions to ensure consistent competitive advantage in the marketplace
• Develop clear, convincing and data-driven business cases for significant new growth investments
• Incorporate an understanding of the broader payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, technology environment etc.)


All About You: The ideal candidate will have broad and extensive experience with:

• Experience in the Payments, Card Fraud, Ecommerce, Financial Services is desired, Experience in Technology product management is a requirement
• Ability to hit the ground running, adapt quickly and take an action-oriented, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to execution that focuses on measurable results
• Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently drives continuous improvement
• Experience contributing data-driven product ideas that were accepted for development and/or enhancement by senior leaders – optimally, experience leading a v1 product from ideation to launch
• Experience building and launching products for globally
• Committed to product management discipline and best practices; process-oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal team work and external products delivered to the market
• Hands-on, resourceful, and nimble with a track record turning strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
• Verbal and written communication is clear and concise
