About your role:

You will lead technical engagement, certification, and support solutions consulting for vendors, mid‑market merchants, and enterprise merchants integrating with Fiserv’s Canadian payment platforms. This role drives high-quality, multi‑channel integrations across in‑store, eCommerce, mobile, and emerging payment methods and channels.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee integration projects for vendors, mid‑market merchants, and enterprise merchants, ensuring seamless connectivity to Fiserv’s Canadian payment ecosystem.
  • Guide merchants and vendors through certification processes for Interac, Visa, Mastercard, and proprietary APIs across multiple channels (card‑present, card‑not‑present, digital wallets, and value‑added services).
  • Provide solution design advisory, helping clients select the best‑fit technical and operational approach based on their business model, risk posture, and channel strategy.
  • Support switching and migration initiatives, including platform transitions, processor changes, and modernization of merchant and vendor integrations.
  • Manage workload and resource prioritization, ensuring teams deliver high‑quality outcomes while balancing multiple concurrent integration and certification streams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Certification, Relationship Managers, Implementation, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain frameworks, documentation, and tooling to accelerate certification timelines and improve developer experience across all merchant segments.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex integrations, providing architectural guidance and issue resolution.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 7 years of experience in payment integrations, certification, or technical consulting within the Canadian payments space.
  • Deep familiarity with Interac, EMV, ISO8583, and JSON APIs, including acquirer‑processor relationships.
  • Experience translating intricate technical requirements into clear business solutions.
  • Technical background in software, payments, or solution consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, working with APIs, SDKs, including card-present and card-not-present flows.

Experience that will be great to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • PMP or relevant technical certification.
  • Fluency in French

How you’ll work:

This role is a hybrid position. You will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to build connection and inclusion
  • RRSP with 100% company match up to 5%, a Non-Registered Savings Plan (NREG), and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
