Position Overview:

As Manager, Owned Social within the Corporate Marketing team, you will be responsible for executing Viral Nation's corporate social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with a primary focus on enterprise B2B audiences. Working closely with Content, PR, Demand Generation, Design, and executive stakeholders, you'll bring our thought leadership, campaigns, and brand storytelling to life through compelling, platform-native content.

You are a modern social marketer with strong creative instincts and a deep understanding of how social content performs across channels. You know how to translate complex ideas into engaging social narratives, balance creativity with performance insights, and keep a consistent pulse on platform trends and audience behavior.

This role is highly collaborative and hands-on, owning the day-to-day management of Viral Nation's social channels while helping evolve our social presence as the business grows.

What You'll Do:
  • Execute Viral Nation's corporate social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Own and maintain the social content calendar, ensuring alignment with broader corporate marketing initiatives including blogs, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, events, product launches, and integrated campaigns.
  • Create, publish, schedule, and optimize content while maintaining consistent publishing cadences across platforms.
  • Partner with Content, Design, PR, and Demand Generation to adapt long-form assets into engaging social-first content.
  • Capture, edit, and publish social-first video and static content, including short-form videos, photos, designed assets, executive thought leadership, event coverage and  educational content, 
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and cultural moments to identify timely content opportunities.
  • Manage daily community engagement by responding to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions while escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing, Strategy and PR teams to amplify campaigns through creators, partners, and employee advocacy.
  • Track channel performance using native platform analytics and reporting tools, providing recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and business impact.
  • Support experimentation across content formats, messaging, and platform features to continuously improve performance.
  • Maintain brand consistency, editorial quality, and social best practices across all channels.
You'll Need To Have:
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media for an in-house brand or agency, ideally supporting B2B or enterprise marketing audiences.
  • Experience managing brand or agency social media channels and executing integrated social content strategies, with a focus on enterprise-level messaging and content. 
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms, with knowledge of what drives engagement across enterprise audiences.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different platforms and audiences.
  • Experience creating and editing social-first image and video content optimized for platform-native consumption.
  • Create compelling static and video content for social media by leveraging tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and CapCut, while maintaining brand consistency and optimizing content for platform-specific performance.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools, with the ability to interpret performance data and recommend optimizations.
  • Experience using social analytics tools and native platform insights to measure performance.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Strategy, Creative, PR, Demand Generation, and executive stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for social media, digital storytelling, and emerging platform trends.
 
This role has an annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000
 
This range reflects the full scope and progression of the role, from building capability to operating with sustained impact at a higher level. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support our team as they grow with us.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.

Compensation progression is tied to demonstrated performance, expanded scope, and sustained contribution over time, not tenure alone. Employee compensation is reviewed regularly through formal performance reviews and check-ins to ensure alignment with role expectations and impact.
