As a Manager, Media Analytics & BI Enablement, you'll serve as a senior individual contributor focused on advanced analysis, reporting, and business intelligence enablement across digital and direct marketing channels. You'll analyze media and marketing performance data, uncover trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations that help optimize campaign effectiveness and improve business outcomes. You'll work across multiple platforms and data sources to strengthen reporting accuracy, support attribution, and maintain data integrity. In this role, you'll also partner with stakeholders to translate complex findings into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions and influence senior leaders.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

  • Media reporting and optimization - Apply deep knowledge of paid media data, reporting practices, media tagging, and Adobe tagging to monitor performance, diagnose issues, and identify optimization opportunities across digital media channels.

  • Strategic insight development - Connect insights across multiple data sources, business objectives, and deliverables to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Marketing and Media partners.

  • Independent problem solving - Approach data with curiosity and critical thinking by identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies, forming hypotheses, validating findings, and recommending solutions with minimal oversight.

  • Cross-functional collaboration - Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across teams to resolve issues, align on priorities, and support consistent, high-quality reporting and insight delivery.

  • Execution and accountability - Manage multiple high-impact initiatives with strong organization and attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality in reporting, analysis, and business support.

Who you are

  • You're an experienced media analytics professional. You bring 3+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level media data analysis, extract, transform, load (ETL) processes, and data visualization. You independently interpret complex datasets and use your analysis to influence business results.

  • You're highly skilled in digital and media platforms. You have advanced experience with Adobe Analytics and strong working knowledge of media reporting and analytics. You also bring experience with tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms used for data aggregation and visualization.

  • You're a strategic thinker. You challenge assumptions, synthesize insights from multiple sources, and connect data to broader business goals. You communicate recommendations clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.

  • You're detail-oriented and solution focused. You notice the nuances in the data, ask thoughtful questions, and work through issues with a practical, collaborative mindset. Your strong understanding of tagging best practices helps support accurate measurement and data integrity.

  • You're adaptable and continuously learning. You stay current with evolving media reporting practices, analytics capabilities, and industry trends to strengthen your impact. Experience with tools such as Power BI, Databricks, or other advanced ETL and visualization platforms is an asset.
