About the Role

The Finance Systems and Strategy team is committed to driving operational excellence, delivering service excellence, and enabling a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the Finance organization. The Manager, IT Finance Systems, will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance Systems & Strategy to execute the strategic roadmap focused on process optimization and business analysis across the Finance function. This role will partner with both IT and Finance teams to drive enhancements in financial processes and enablement through technology. This role provides critical support for the implementation and ongoing support of SAP S4/HANA and the technology transformation Roadmap of existing applications.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the Application Owner for the SAP S/4HANA Finance landscape, providing functional leadership and governance across SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Vertex, Treasury, BlackLine, and other integrated Finance applications.
  • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and continuous optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions with deep expertise across Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), Contract-to-Cash (C2C/FI-CA), Treasury & Cash Management, and Asset Accounting.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to define solution architecture, lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, and translate complex accounting and business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end SAP project delivery including solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, integrations, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare support.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP Finance and enterprise applications including Ariba, Concur, Vertex, BlackLine, banking platforms, SuccessFactors, and other third-party systems.
  • Own SAP Finance application support, release management, incident management, system performance, and compliance with ITIL, SDLC, SOX, and GITC controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP functional and technical professionals while promoting SAP best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining strong financial controls, system documentation, and compliance with governance requirements.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and production support.
  • Deep SAP S/4HANA configuration expertise across Record-to-Report (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, Universal Journal, Financial Closing, Cost & Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders), Source-to-Pay, Contract-to-Cash (SAP FI-CA), Treasury & Cash Management, and Asset Accounting (New AA).
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture including Business Partner, ACDOCA (Universal Journal), Document Splitting, Parallel Ledgers, and Financial Reporting.
  • Proven experience leading SAP Finance implementations, enhancements, and complex integrations with Ariba, Concur, Vertex, BlackLine, banking platforms, and other enterprise applications.
  • Experience facilitating business process workshops and translating Finance and Accounting requirements into scalable SAP functional solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP application lifecycle management including configuration, testing, transports, release management, and production support within ITIL and SDLC frameworks.
  • Experience supporting SOX/GITC compliance, audit readiness, and governance for enterprise SAP Finance environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP S/4HANA certifications in Financial Accounting (FI), Management Accounting (CO), Treasury, Asset Accounting, or related Finance modules.
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, OData services, and SAP integration technologies including IDocs, RFCs, and REST/SOAP services.
  • Working knowledge of ABAP, including debugging, BADIs, user exits, CDS Views, AMDP, enhancements, and custom development.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Group Reporting, Central Finance, Advanced Financial Closing, Cloud ALM, or RISE with SAP.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing SAP functional and technical teams while driving enterprise SAP transformation initiatives and partnering effectively with Finance and IT executives.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $111,100 - $152,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
