The Finance team is integral to KEV’s success, driving planning and decision making through collaboration and expertise. We partner across the organization to deliver annual budgets, forecasting, monthly and weekly variance analysis, KPI reporting and other ad-hoc analysis.
We are looking for a Manager, FP&A, to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the GTM organization, helping shape investment decisions, identifying key drivers to grow ARR via New Logo, Cross-selling, Acquisition integration and Renewals. You will also be instrumental in managing and evolving our FP&A tools, and connecting data to insights, planning and performance optimization across the business. You are a self-starter, motivated to make things better through process, automation, tools and data. You are enthusiastic about understanding how our business works, what defines success, and how you can help influence better business outcomes.
How You’ll Contribute- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support the budgeting/ forecasting process and monthly variance analysis by building reporting templates, consolidating data and doing analysis on data.
- Create and update financial models including Sales Capacity, Pipeline Funnel, ARR, integrating Operational and Financial KPI’s to produce the 3 statements.
- KPI Reporting and Data Analysis:
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to understand data and systems and help build insightful and user-friendly reports for the leadership team.
- Incorporate critical thinking skills in financial analysis, strategic analysis, business modeling to provide robust analysis to support internal stakeholders’ decision making
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements and optimization
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Processes
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation and automation of standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
- Identify and prepare business reporting requirements, validating for accuracy and integrity of the data being collected and reported
- FP&A Systems
- Manage the Adaptive planning/reporting environment, building reporting, integrated modelling, KPI tracking and integrating to Netsuite and our Data Warehouse
- Develop self-serve reporting and dashboards for business owners, including the executive dashboard
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Business Consulting, Banking or Financial Planning & Analysis with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, renewal rates, Magic Number, Sales Capacity, and margin analysis
- Skilled in managing financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling and translating complex concepts into clear, actionable reports for management.
- Proficient in analyzing financial performance data to identify trends and opportunities and building models and feasibility studies to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with PowerBI, Salesforce, NetSuite, and FP&A planning tools (preferably Adaptive) is an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills to build partnerships with Accounting, Revenue Operations, Executive leaders and HR for timely, high-quality financial and operational data and business performance management.
- Experienced in preparing financial reports, including business reviews, variance analysis, KPIs, and Board-level reporting.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of data platforms, dashboards, and analytic solutions to drive insights and continuous improvement.
