**This is a hybrid 6 month contract based out of Vancouver or Toronto Downtown office, and the role is eligible for a completion bonus upon successful fulfillment of the full contract term.**
About the role
The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis role play a critical part in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a focus on expanding Free Cash Flow (FCF), and the ability to partner with business leaders to identify opportunities, manage costs, and implement robust financial controls.
In this role, you will
Work with and supporting the Integrated Asset Management & Development Services business unit with Budgeting/Forecasting, preparation of management reports and presentations and other related tasks as required.
Actively assist and participate in the overall month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close. This includes coordination with various stakeholders across the organization and the preparation of Corporate management reports and presentations.
Compile, analyze and investigate monthly/quarterly/annual P&L and Capex variance analysis to Budget/Forecast and Prior Year.
Develop strong knowledge of the revenue, expense, profitability, headcount, and P&L forecasts, including various types of financial analysis using key performance indicators specific to the commercial real estate industry.
Assist in providing insights to senior management for improvements that lead to cost reduction, revenue generation, and streamlined operations.
Assist with developing, managing, automating, and enhancing analytical tools and processes to improve the quality and transparency of financial results and forecasts and to facilitate ad hoc reporting.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, ensuring process changes are appropriately implemented, documented and communicated.
Provide support to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) | Canada in various related activities and projects.
What you bring
5+ years of relevant experience working within Financial Planning and Analysis for a large organization
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field.
Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, cost management, and cash flow optimization
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analytics tools and systems
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication, with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels
Looks to solve problems, with a minimum of providing potential solutions to the issues.

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $110,000 to $130,000 per annum
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
