Job Summary

As the ERP Training Manager, you’ll play a key role in IPEX’s enterprise SAP transformation by leading the Training function within the ERP Transformation Office. You’ll partner closely with IT, business stakeholders, project teams, and Organizational Change Management to drive user adoption, business readiness, and successful deployment of ERP initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to shape end‑to‑end training strategies from needs analysis and content design to delivery and continuous improvement, using a variety of learning formats. You’ll also lead and develop a high‑performing training team while ensuring training plans align with implementation timelines and evolving ways of working across the organization.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise‑wide ERP training needs analysis, ensuring all end users are mapped to role‑based training that aligns with transformation goals and business readiness priorities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive training strategies and content, leveraging blended learning approaches (in‑person, virtual, and self‑guided) and established instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE
  • Oversee the creation, standardization, validation, localization, and accessibility of high‑quality training content, including facilitator guides and end‑user materials
  • Govern training material management, publishing, and documentation control using platforms such as SAP Enable Now and SharePoint, ensuring instructors and learners have access to current, validated content
  • Own the ERP training environment strategy, coordinating data loads, user access, system refreshes, and transport schedules in collaboration with SAP Basis and Global teams
  • Measure training effectiveness, analyze feedback and outcomes, and continuously improve learning methods and content to maximize user adoption and performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of training professionals, setting priorities, allocating resources, and fostering a collaborative, innovative, and improvement‑focused culture
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision‑making related to training priorities, resource allocation, and timelines, balancing project outcomes with user impact

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Education, Learning & Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience developing and delivering SAP training
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training, instructional design, learning & development, or a related field, including at least 2 years in a people‑management role
  • Demonstrated experience leading SAP‑focused training programs, with hands‑on expertise using SAP Enable Now (administrator, producer, or viewer)
  • SAP training and/or change management certification is considered an asset
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across technical and business teams
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, transformational environment
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required to other IPEX locations

The compensation for this position is between $105,500 and $131,900 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
