The opportunity
We are looking for a Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting, who will be responsible for providing high quality, actionable insights, and analytics that will improve the performance of Commercial Insurance.

What you’ll do

  • Work with complex datasets, ensuring data quality, integrity, governance, and optimal performance.

  • Lead the collection, integration, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate actionable insights that improve business performance.

  • Develop and deliver meaningful dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to define and drive business intelligence and analytics, leading to insights which will drive performance improvement.

  • Foster an environment of continuous engagement with actuarial, pricing, analytics, underwriting, operations, marketing, communications, claims, IT, finance, and others.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders understand performance drivers, emerging trends, and opportunities for improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • University degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics and Reporting roles.

  • Experience with SAS, Python, MS Access and BI tools is an asset.

  • Experience in Commercial Insurance is an asset.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to audiences ranging from technical teams to senior executives.

  • Preference will be given to a candidate that has the right balance of business and technical skills.

What you’ll get

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
