Job Description:

What will you work on?
The Manager, Corporate FP&A is a 20-month contract position responsible for the enterprise consolidation of the Annual Budget and Quarterly forecast processes for all three of Spin Masters creative centers.  This would include the validation, execution, & documentation of the budget and forecast processes.  The Manager is also responsible for being the finance business partner to various stakeholders across the organization in order drive enterprise value through effective management reporting/financial modelling. 
How will you create impact?

  • Assist in the execution and consolidation of the Annual Budget and Forecast processes for all three of Spin Masters creative centers
    • Review all budget submission and assess for viability, accuracy, and sensitivity
    • Work with Senior Leadership to ensure that Budget and forecasts are aligned to Corporate Goals
    • Continuously improve the forecasting process with the goal of improving the overall forecast accuracy and understanding of the key drivers of the business
    • Prepare the Annual Budget/Forecast presentation material and associated backup schedules for the Board of Directors & Founders Council
    • Help to identify and monitor risk and opportunities
  • Produce effective management reporting that drives insight into the business on a monthly basis that a timely and accurate.  Key focus areas include: Profitability Reporting, Cost Rationalization/Containment, Variance Analysis
  • Oversee the distribution of the monthly Executive Other G&A Scorecards and provide insight into actual variance as well as work with the Global Finance team to understand key variance in spend for their respective business/region
  • Support and assist in the development of Other G&A reporting for the shared service departments
  • Assist the controllership team in the close process by analyzing/identifying potential anomalies within the actual results
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Assist in the improvements of financial systems, policies, and processes to improve accounting, reporting, and analytical functions
  • Ensure that we are in compliance with all documented internal controls

What are your skills and experience?

  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP and Planning Software mandatory (SAP, Anaplan Preferred)
  • CPA designation (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in financial planning (company setting or public accounting firm)
  • Strong business partnership skills and ability to engage with all levels of management
