What will you work on?
The Manager, Corporate FP&A will be accountable for supporting the implementation of an ERP upgrade project from an FP&A perspective. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A, this is a 24 month contract position and will be a key role within the Corporate FP&A department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT projects/Project management with proven expertise in delivering value added management reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, problem solving, and the ability to deliver best practices around the design and implementation of ERP applications and solutions in line with business requirements.
How will you create impact?
- Regular duties include but are not limited to:
- Work with the business to clearly identify business requirements that are well defined prior to the execution of the project
- Work collaboratively with the various functions to develop workflows that adhere to accounting standards and financial policies
- Develop documentation of the finance module clearly articulating the workflows and interdependencies
- Ensure that the configuration of key Reporting dimensions is comprehensive and conducive to generating effective management reporting
- Provide training and support to the Corporate FP&A team
- Develop and track project requirements, project status, and schedule outlining key milestones
- Provide regular updates to the various stakeholders with respect to project status
- Collaborate with FP&A and its various stakeholders to clearly understand business requirements, set expectations within the group, and ensure that there is effective communication throughout the project
- Project Management: Lead the planning, maintenance, and delivery of the ERP Upgrade from a Corporate FP&A perspective; Ensure that there is alignment with business objectives and strategic goals
- Risk Management: Identify the potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project. Regularly assess project risks and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Continuous seek opportunities to improve process, tools, workflows and adopt best practices throughout the project
What are your skills and experience?
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP mandatory
- CPA designation (Preferred)
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in public company setting or public accounting firm
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong self-initiative to operate independently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Creative problem-solving skills and motivation to improve processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business partnership skills and ability to engage with all levels of management
- Good team player with a positive attitude focused on relationship building
