  • Build and maintain measurement and feedback loops that provide insight, demonstrate impact and continuously inform communication strategies.
  • Provide strategic oversight and quality direction for the writing, editing and distribution of communications content.
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to provide sound communications counsel, strengthen leadership communications and support key business priorities.
  • Build strong relationships across Claims and the broader organization to align stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • Navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and adapt communication approaches as business needs evolve.
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation and inclusive communication practices.

What you bring

  • A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in communications, marketing or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in a people leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic communications plans in a complex organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and professional judgment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing and content-development expertise.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to change.
  • A curious and creative mindset, with a commitment to finding better ways to communicate and engage audiences.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and building an inclusive, high-performing team.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.

What success looks like

In this role, you will:

  • Be a trusted strategic communications partner to Claims leaders and executives.
  • Help connect communication priorities to broader business and organizational objectives.
  • Strengthen the team’s capabilities and foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion and high performance.
  • Deliver clear, purposeful communications that support employees, leaders and business outcomes.
