Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. was founded in 1993 to provide Foodservice Customers with a fresh alternative.  An outstanding supply network, efficient distribution through our three regional locations, and our thoroughly modern processing plant are all part of our commitment to provide the freshest fruits and vegetables possible.

We are currently seeking a full time Business Development Manager (Sales) to join our our team of Milton, Ontario.

Description of Role:
As Manager, Business Development for our Specialty Companies division, you'll be instrumental in expanding our market presence and achieving financial growth. You'll define long-term strategic goals, identify new business opportunities, and secure key customer contracts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies.

  • New Customer Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and build strong relationships with potential clients.

  • Revenue Generation: Deliver on revenue budgets for new business.

  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.

  • Team Leadership: Coach and guide sales staff to achieve targets.

What You Bring:

  • Proven success (3+ years) in business development, ideally in the food services industry.

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to derive insights and solve problems collaboratively.

  • Experience in developing and negotiating contracts.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
