About the Team

The GMX Business Operations & Planning team is a key driver of impact across Global Markets and Experiences. As trusted partners to eBay’s Chief Commercial Officer, we solve complex operational challenges, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure the successful execution of eBay’s strategic priorities.

We collaborate closely with senior leaders across business units, product, and technology teams. Our work shapes how eBay delivers value—faster, smarter, and with greater focus—making this team an exciting launchpad for growth and leadership opportunities.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Manager, Business Operations and Strategic Initiatives to join our high-impact team. You’ll help simplify operations, prioritize critical initiatives, and accelerate delivery of eBay’s most important projects. This is a high-visibility role where your insights will directly influence business outcomes and shape how eBay operates at scale.

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Analyze business problems and identify solutions using data, customer insights, and industry trends

  • Translate findings into clear recommendations and plans for action

  • Collaborate across teams to align priorities and streamline execution

  • Improve coordination and clarity regarding eBay’s planning and prioritization processes

  • Communicate insights and proposals effectively to senior stakeholders

  • Champion simplicity and speed in how we work

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience, including time at a top-tier strategy consulting firm

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • A passion for turning complex challenges into practical solutions

  • Strong analytical thinking, with both quantitative and qualitative strengths

  • Exceptional communication skills—able to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences

  • A proactive, collaborative approach—comfortable working in a matrixed, fast-changing environment

  • Confidence navigating ambiguity and a bias for action

  • A sense of curiosity, creativity, and fun

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C$110,000 - C$146,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
