Quanex is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team located in Brampton, ON.

This position coordinates warehouse process, including receiving, inventory control, order preparation, and shipping. Ensures accurate documentation, operates warehouse equipment, and coordinates with internal teams and external vendors to guarantee timely and efficient order fulfillment under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.

Typical Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm; Friday 7:30am-2:00pm

What Success Looks Like:

  • Verify incoming shipments and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory records and support counts.
  • Track inventory levels and flag shortages.
  • Move materials to support production flow.
  • Schedule and track shipments to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents.
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and teams.
  • Support warehouse operations, safety, and planning.

Your Credentials:

  • Be capable of obtaining a forklift certification
  • Accuracy of information and ability to follow a process through to completion
  • Ability to learn necessary computer systems
  • Able to move pallets, load trucks, and move other items safely throughout the plant as necessary
  • Able to lift 35 lbs consistently
  • Addition, subtraction, and multiplication of basic numbers
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read work instructions, carton labels, etc., necessary for day-to-day operations

The hourly rate of pay for this position starts at $22.00/hr CAD.
