First Student is seeking a dedicated and experienced Location Manager to lead our school bus operations in Caledon East. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our students and families.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the location’s operations, including driver supervision, dispatch, maintenance, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, provincial regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Collaborate with regional leadership and school boards to meet transportation needs.
- Manage staffing, training, and development of team members.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation for the location.
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or operations management (school bus or fleet experience is an asset).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Ontario safety and transportation regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems.
- Valid driver’s license (Class B or willingness to obtain is an asset).
