Mejuri is the category-defining fine jewelry brand redefining luxury, your way. Feeling disconnected from an industry that typically markets to men, co-founder and CEO Noura Sakkijha leveraged her learnings as a third-generation jeweler to rethink the way women purchase jewelry—for themselves. In only seven years, and with a team of over 75% women, Mejuri has shipped over one million orders and opened retail stores across the globe, all while introducing new products weekly.

As part of Noura’s original vision to empower women to invest in themselves, the brand launched the Empowerment Fund to support underrepresented women and non-binary individuals with the tools to empower themselves. Mejuri continues to reach new customers through exciting community initiatives and expansion into international markets, such as the UK, Australia and Germany.

We are a team of retailers, creatives, technologists and strategists, and we are looking for someone special to join our team.

The Role:

As a Learning Specialist at Mejuri, you will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and managing learning programs that empower Mejuri employees across CX, Fulfillment Center (FC), and Corporate teams. Reporting to the Director, Learning and Culture, you will support key initiatives, including implementing a new LMS, enhancing new hire onboarding, supporting Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) readiness, and the High Potential Program.

What you'll do:

  • Support the implementation and oversee the daily operations of a new Learning Management System (LMS), including content migration, user management, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct audits of existing materials, refining and aligning them with Mejuri’s brand standards and learning objectives.
  • Develop and document workflows and processes for effective LMS usage.
  • Identify learning and development requirements across CX, FC, and Corporate teams through comprehensive needs assessments.
  • Design and deliver blended learning solutions, including eLearning, virtual and instructor-led training, and performance support tools.
  • Facilitate and refine onboarding sessions for new hires, introducing them to Mejuri’s culture and operations.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training programs, including role-specific materials, for special events and peak operational times like BFCM.
  • Coordinate and manage the learning calendar, including invitations, scheduling, and follow-ups for training sessions and events.
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine learning programs and align them with organizational goals and team needs.
  • Track participation and outcomes of learning programs, leveraging data to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with the Employee Experience team to curate and deliver content for engagement initiatives such as lunch-and-learn sessions.
  • Ensure all training and engagement materials consistently reflect Mejuri’s brand identity and core values.

What you bring to the team:

  • Training in Design and/or Education Fundamentals through recognized certification, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Studio, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
  • Strong ability to design and deliver blended learning solutions.
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while delivering high-quality results.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Information:

  • Location Requirement: This role requires in-person work Tuesday–Thursday, alternating between Mejuri HQ and the Fulfillment Center in Toronto.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
  • Contract Term: This is a 1-year contract position.
