Lead Enterprise Solution Architect (Anaplan) 

The Lead Enterprise Solution Architect (Anaplan) serves as the senior technical authority for the Anaplan platform, translating enterprise planning priorities into scalable, reliable, and controlled solutions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Anaplan Enterprise Architecture, this role shapes platform architecture, integration strategy, delivery governance, and technical standards across FP&A, IT, Data Engineering, and business leadership. The position strengthens enterprise planning outcomes through platform leadership, stakeholder alignment, and technical team development. 

How you will make an impact: 

  • Lead end-to-end Anaplan platform architecture across planning domains in alignment with enterprise priorities, standards, and scalability goals. 

  • Define solution architecture patterns for model structure, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), modular design, performance, and enterprise planning data models. 

  • Design integrations with Snowflake, Power BI, ERP, CRM, and HR systems in partnership with Data Engineering. 

  • Govern modeling standards, release management, deployment controls, data security, audit readiness, and SOX alignment across the platform. 

  • Direct model builders, architects, vendors, and partners on solution design, build quality, technical risk, and issue resolution. 

  • Partner with Product Ownership, FP&A, IT, and business leadership to lead architecture reviews and align technical decisions with enterprise outcomes. 

  • Shape the Anaplan platform roadmap, Connected Planning strategy, automation opportunities, and technical capability development across the delivery team. 

The must haves: 

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Certified Anaplan Solution Architect with demonstrated ownership of complex enterprise solution architecture. 

  • Experience: 5+ years supporting planning solutions within an IT department, including cross-functional delivery, platform support, and stakeholder alignment. 

  • Experience: 5+ years working with data in a data warehouse environment, including enterprise data structures, integration design, and data quality considerations. 

  • Experience: 5+ years working with SOX controls and applying control, auditability, and compliance requirements to solution design and platform operations. 

The annual pay range for this position is $91,000 - $145,400 CAD

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
