The Position

At Roche, you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

Our organization, as part of PT strategy (PTY), is responsible for the definition of our future state PT strategy to support and enable our Pharma Vision—building and deploying our Pharma Network of the Future strategy. We activate and catalyze this through a series of programs at the enterprise level. Our leaders sit between development, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial global functions and markets, providing a unique view to the full industrialization and commercialization requirements of our portfolio, and in doing so, shape and define our future manufacturing network strategy. Through leadership and partnerships, we ensure that we robustly enable objective, data-driven, hypothesis analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership on strategic network choices.

Operating within the PT Strategy Office as part of the Strategic Processes Team, this unit serves as the essential backbone ensuring that our enterprise business processes, global governance frameworks, operational change initiatives, and early-career talent development remain efficient, compliant, and scalable as we transform our global technical network.

The Opportunity

As the Lead, Strategic Process and Change Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving transformational change across our Pharma Technical Operations. Operating in a flexible hybrid work environment, you will manage multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring that critical network projects are delivered on time to support our overarching Pharma Vision.

  • Holistic Enterprise Deployment: Take full ownership of delivering and embedding transformational change initiatives across a 15,000-employee global organization, ensuring alignment within your remit.

  • Driving AI-Integrated Change: Assess and communicate the impact of strategic shifts, proactively engaging stakeholders across development, manufacturing, and supply chain to understand upstream and downstream implications. You will integrate advanced AI solutions into bespoke change process steps to accelerate adoption and support new systemic workflows.

  • Leading and Mentoring: Act as a subject matter expert for end-to-end project implementation. You will guide a diverse team of project professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation to resolve complex operational challenges.

  • Understanding and Documenting Requirements: Work closely with cross-functional partners to gather complex business requirements. You will facilitate solution design discussions, ensuring that new processes meet enterprise needs and mitigate operational risks.

Who You Are:

You are an experienced leader who thrives in complex, matrixed environments and is deeply committed to delivering solutions that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

  • You bring 7-10 years of experience in process and change management, with a proven track record of driving business transformation, including at least 5 years of matrixed leadership.

  • You possess a strong background in Business, Life Sciences, or Computer Science, complemented by a working knowledge of process automation, low-code tools, and Gen AI capabilities. A background in UX/UI is highly preferred to ensure that newly deployed system-oriented processes are intuitive, user-centric, and easily adopted by the business.

  • You excel at engaging global stakeholders, building strong cross-functional partnerships, and facilitating collaborative design discussions.

  • You seamlessly manage multiple enterprise initiatives with conflicting priorities and limited resources without compromising quality or compliance.

  • You inspire continuous learning within your teams, bring your authentic self to work, and deeply align with Roche’s core values of Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
