As a Lead Power Platform / Dynamics 365 Solutions Engineer, you will play the pivotal business engagement role to drive the adoption of the Power Platform following Microsoft best practices and security standards.  With the adoption of Copilot Studio for AI Agents, this position is required to engage with Segment to guide in defining and designing AI agents for Business solution.

 

Work arrangement: Fully remote Canada or USA

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • This role can be broken down into 4 main duties:

  • Train and educate global teams in Power Platform development and security best practices through workshops by orienting sessions to be both Manulife centric and at the proper technical level.

  • On demand engagements in business projects to guide architects and developers through proper Power Platform architecture design principles.  Review current designs, key objectives and technologies and propose modifications aligned to Power Platform principles.

  • Work with Segment and Enterprise architects on creating a set of repeatable patterns which can be used to standardize common integrations and configurations.

  • Work within the Enterprise Technology services Power Platform team on projects to meet the teams mission of, ‘Delivering the most capable, well governed and compliant service at Manulife to push the power of the Power Platform to its limit’.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years' experience as a Cloud developer.

  • 5 years’ experience in Power Platform / Dynamics 365 as a pro-code developer.

  • 5 years' experience in Power Platform / Dynamics as a solutions architect or a lead engineer

  • 2 years' experience with Azure DevOps, Github and Power Platform CLI.

  • Strong experience in analyzing solutions for business / security requirements across multiple projects in Power Platform.

  • Expert level knowledge of Dataverse and Dataverse security.

  • Expert knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven), Power Automate cloud and desktop flows

  • Knowledge of Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Akamai and Power BI (Fabric)

  • Strong experience working with Azure services such as logic Apps, Azure Functions, SQL, DataLake, Service bus, Applications Insights.

  • Experience with designing and developing multiple Dynamics Apps on the same Dynamics environment, leveraging common core entities and data.

  • Experience in Power Platform administration, including environments, capacity, licensing, custom tooling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Power Platform developer and architect certifications are desirable.

  • Large complex environment experience is desired but not a must

For USA hirings, Base Salary range: $127,330 USD - $181,900 USD (mid-point) - $236,470 USD

Salary range is expected to be between

$113,260.00 CAD - $210,340.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
