The Lead Frontend Developer will have a deep expertise in React and headless CMS architectures (WordPress, Drupal). This role will be responsible for leading the development of scalable frontend applications, optimizing performance, and integrating CMS platforms in decoupled environments. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can guide a development team while collaborating across departments to deliver seamless digital experiences.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development and delivery of scalable, maintainable, and performant React-based frontend applications.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and code standards.
- Leverage expertise in WordPress and Drupal to integrate, manage, and optimize CMS functionality in headless architectures.
- Oversee the implementation of custom modules, plugins, and themes as needed.
- Plan and document technical solutions for headless CMS projects, including API integration strategies and content workflows.
- Ensure compatibility between frontend frameworks and CMS platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Optimize frontend performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- 5+ years in React and its ecosystem (Hooks, Next.js, etc.).
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and Drupal, particularly in headless or decoupled configurations.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and CMS API endpoints.
- Proven experience as a technical lead or senior frontend developer in complex web projects.
- Prior experience with headless CMS architectures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
