As the Lead, EV Data Intelligence, you will support the EV team in analyzing and developing insights from vehicles, charging and energy data to help our clients to understand their fleets better and accelerate their ability to decarbonize. This individual will support the continual update of Element data sources to ensure the most relevant and accurate data is being used across products and services, as well as develop tools and dashboards to support the scalability of all EV product development and operations.
A Day in the Life
Data & Analytics
- Develop client insights based on a variety of vehicle, charger and energy data and help support product development
- Responsible for developing a catalog of internal and external EV data sources to support the analysis and insights needed to effectively decarbonize our clients’ fleets and develop new products and services
- Standing up foundational data architecture to support the development of new EV, energy management and decarbonization products and services, supporting operational execution and continuous improvement
- Evaluate data sources for relevancy and accuracy to ensure credibility of any insights or products being launched
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is consistent across use cases, and support to build new data and processing solutions
Analytical / Reporting Tool Development
- Develop dashboards and tools to support he scalability of EV engagement and implementation support
- Engage with clients to understand and determine needs for data and insights to feed into operational and product development activities
- Engage with Digital and Technology teams to support appropriate tool / technology development
- Own any external tools used for data, analytics, and reporting for the EV program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, mathematics, data science, business statistics or related degree
- 3 - 5+ years of relevant work experience in data science / analytics
- Demonstrated experience working in SQL, Python
- Ability to work in R is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a business environment characterized by complexity, ambiguity, and rapid change
- Proven work record to effectively plan, manage and execute complex business situations ensure all stakeholders and direct/indirect team members are knowledgeable and driving towards results
- Ability to self-manage workload, manage prioritization, and provide appropriate updates / engagement with leaders
- Management consulting experience a positive
