Job Description :

You will be a key driving force behind fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth within our human resources function. As a critical member of our Employee Experience team, you will act as the lead to track HR projects and initiatives and support the development and launch of employee experience initiatives. You will be shaping the future of our organization by evolving the employee experience and supporting key HR projects and objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead & manage HR-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment and collaboration through each project, often preparing and presenting decks and reports to senior management on project progress, and sometimes overseeing multiple projects at a time; 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and facilitate regular project meetings, provide updates and address any issues or risks that arise; 

  • Leverage people data analytics to provide insightful recommendations and drive informed decision-making, ensuring HR strategies and projects are data-backed, agile, and aligned with the evolving needs of the business and employees;

  • Identifies opportunities to find harmonization amongst HR policies, procedures and processes across Canada and USA; 

  • Design, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements. Regularly review and update policies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

  • Track progress and report on key metrics related to employee experience initiatives; 

  • Promote and support a culture that values diversity, equity and inclusion in everything that we do.

ACADEMIC TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration. 

  • Certificate in Project Management is an asset. 

  • CHRP certified or working towards this designation is an asset.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5+ years of HR experience as a Generalist, Business Partner and/or HR Projects Specialist or Advisor. 

  • Experience with using Google suite & HRIS (Workday) an asset. 

  • Demonstrated project coordination/management experience. 

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Federal and Provincial laws, particularly the Canadian Labour Code. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and navigate multiple HR projects and/or initiatives at a time. 

  • Ability to “think outside the box” and see the “big picture” impact of HR decisions and actions, particularly on how they impact the employee experience. 

  • Strong analytical, facilitation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated change agent with a learning attitude towards work and teams. Streamlines processes and promotes quality.

  • Subject matter expert who is able to work with limited day-to-day supervision.
