The Opportunity

Simpplr is looking for a talented cross-functional Content Writer to join our Product Team. As the Content Writer, you will create compelling content for a wide variety of platforms, including our customer-facing knowledge base, in-app messaging, onboarding materials, release notes, and success stories. Day to day, you will manage multiple projects at a time while collaborating closely with our Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers. 

A successful candidate is detail-oriented, committed to meeting tight deadlines, and passionate about crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly experiences. We are looking for a natural storyteller with a high level of creativity, who also has the ability to deeply understand our product and our customers' needs.

Your Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers within the Product team to create engaging and effective user-centered content.
  • Develop and create content for various platforms, including but not limited to, in-app messaging, onboarding materials, release notes, success stories, and customer-facing knowledge base articles.
  • Organize and write supporting documentation for product features and releases.
  • Conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points, and translate those insights into compelling and informative content.
  • Ensure content is consistent, accurate, and easy to understand across all platforms and media.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for user experience (UX) writing and content strategy.
  • Adhere to Simpplr's brand guidelines and style standards.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. You have a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and storytelling, and you have experience partnering with Product to translate long-term product vision and strategy into enablement material.
  • A growth mindset. You're excited to work in a positive, supportive environment and collaborate as part of a high-caliber, cross-functional team that helps you grow.
  • Bonus points if you have: 
    • Experience in the B2B, HR, or Productivity space.
    • Worked with communication systems for knowledge workers.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with:
    • A strong writing portfolio.
    • Proven experience in creating engaging and effective user-centered content.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $100k - $150k. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.

$100,000$150,000 USD

This model is role-based with exceptions and provides employees with the flexibility that many have told us they want.

  • Hub - 100% work from Simpplr office. Role requires Simpplifier to be in the office full-time.
  • Hybrid - Hybrid work from home and office. Role dictates the ability to work from home, plus benefit from in-person collaboration on a regular basis. 
  • Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
