Are you a skilled writer with a sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset?

We’re looking for a content expert who not only writes compelling copy but understands how to leverage content to drive real results. In this role, you’ll shape and execute a content strategy that spans blogs, newsletters, and email automations, writing meaningful and engaging content that fuels community growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with Decentraland’s brand, community needs, and marketing goals.
  • Use SEO research and performance insights to shape content topics, structure, and formats.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve visibility and organic growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to align content with product launches, events, and campaigns.
  • Stay attuned to community sentiment and trends to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.

  • Content Creation & Management:
  • Write and oversee content across blogs, newsletters, product announcements, and automated email sequences.
  • Ensure all content maintains Decentraland’s voice, inspires engagement, and resonates with the community.
  • Manage our editorial calendar, ensuring consistent, timely publication.
  • Repurpose content across multiple channels to maximize reach and longevity.
  • Track and analyze content performance, using insights to refine strategy and optimize for engagement.
  • Conduct regular content audits, adjusting based on data, SEO performance, and user feedback.
  • Leverage AI tools for ideation, editing, and repurposing while understanding their limits.

The Wordsmith We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a writing, content strategy, digital marketing, or similar role.
  • Background in gaming or adjacent industries, with either Web3 knowledge or a willingness to learn.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft fun, engaging content that converts, as well as thought-leadership pieces and deep dives.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that foster community growth.
  • Proficiency in content marketing tools and platforms (e g, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, CMS)
  • Data-driven thinker who gets a thrill out of analyzing performance metrics to uncover opportunities for increased engagement
  • Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills who consistently delivers on deadlines
  • Native fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Remote work pro who enjoys working with a globally distributed team
