We are seeking an Enterprise Pre-Sales Systems Engineer who will provide deep technical expertise, partner with sales teams, and design innovative Cisco solutions for large enterprise customers. This is an individual contributor role focused on shaping architectures, conducting technical engagements, and driving Cisco's strategic vision in the Mumbai market.
Your Impact
In this role, you will design, validate, and recommend end-to-end enterprise solutions using Cisco's latest technologies. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them modernize, secure, and automate their networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design customized enterprise solutions across Catalyst Switching & Routing, SD-WAN, Wireless (Wi-Fi 6/6E), Cisco Security, IoT Networking , and Cloud-Managed solutions
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase Cisco value
• Collaborate with sales teams to create architecture proposals aligned to customer business objectives
• Engage directly with enterprise clients to understand challenges around connectivity, security, automation, and digital transformation
• Use Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center) for automation, analytics, assurance, and intent-based designs
• Integrate cloud-based platforms such as Meraki , Umbrella , Duo , and ThousandEyes into customer architectures
• Create high-level and low-level designs, Bills of Material (BOM), and solution documentation
• Stay current on Cisco portfolio updates, industry trends, and emerging enterprise technologies
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Cisco Certified Network Associate ( CCNA )
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts and Cisco architectures
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex network solutions for enterprise customers
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable architectures
Preferred Qualifications
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE ) or equivalent deep technical expertise
• Hands-on experience with several of the following:
• Catalyst 9K Switching , Catalyst 8000/8300 Routing
• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Cisco Wireless & Wi-Fi 6/6E , 9800 Series Controllers
• Cisco Security - ISE, Secure Firewall/Firepower, Umbrella, Duo
• IoT/Industrial Networking - IE switches, IR/IR gateways
• Meraki Cloud-Managed Networking
• Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center)
• ThousandEyes for visibility & assurance
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
