WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

We are looking for a Lead Consultant to join our Data Management Global Practice within the Global Data Management Practice team. Our Data Management Core (Gain) solutions enable SimCorp clients to manage their data portfolio end to end and integrate with all kinds of financial market data sources and technologies to drive business operations.

You will be working in an agile team which is responsible for implementing the connectivity to internal and external data sources for and together with our clients. After the technical integration, the data follows a quality enhancement process using SimCorp Data Management Core modules like Security Master, Market Data or Corporate Actions. Once the data quality is verified it will be used to manage the complete spectrum of lifecycle events of financial instruments, from plain vanilla equity and fixed income instruments to complex OTC derivatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Analyze back office and IT processes related to Data Management in respect to the product capabilites and technologies

  • Design and support buidling the configuration  in aspects of SimCorp Data Management based on client requirements 

  • Conduct workshops to explore client requirements working with clients and SimCorp’s team to help capture, define and suggest the most adapted solution 

  • Collaborate with clients throughout the project timeline

  • Provide input to the product roadmap

  • Advise on process improvements through better use of Simcorp Data Management and contribute to improve and document best practices for implementations. 

  • Constantly expand your knowledge of SimCorp Data Management and the clients’ business in order to ensure that clients get the optimal value/ outcome out of their product usage 

  • Contribute to the knowledge sharing within service line projects and tasks 

  • Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects 

  • Participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level 

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Experience with market data vendors like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, SIX etc. would be of advantage

  • The ability to communicate clearly across disciplines, with engineers, business experts, and stakeholders alike

  • Foundational knowledge in a basic SQL and reporting scripting technology and the ability to understand configurations

  • Experience with working in an agile way and a continuous improvement mindset

  • Experience working in an international setting with people from many different cultures

  • A bias toward action and ownership, and low tolerance for unnecessary complexity

  • Tools & technology: Data Managmenent Core (Gain), Office, SQL, XML/JSON, SFTP, AI supported work

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $115,040 - $165,040 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
