Job Responsibilities:
AT Magna the Loboratory Technician is responsible to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and traceability of equipment and measurement tools through capability studies, management of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies, calibration and periodic monitoring of equipment, as well as maintaining the scope of the metrology laboratory.
Your Responsibilities

• Daily coordination with production and maintenance, contributing to quality-related matters upon their request
• Assist the series quality responsible with customer consultations, the execution of COMEX (PPMI), and the implementation of Comtec (warranty declarations).
• Conduct capability studies and analyze the results.
• Plan, organize, and conduct MSA R&R analyses in accordance with internal standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure the periodic calibration of measurement equipment according to current standards and quality requirements.
• Ensure the compliance and traceability of equipment according to internal and external standards and audits.
• Calculate, monitor, and analyze the performance indicators of the metrology laboratory, and propose continuous improvements based on the results obtained.

Who we are looking for

• University education or equivalent. Preferably Business Related in nature.
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Quality Laboratory Technician in the automotive industry.
• Good level of French; proficiency in English is an asset.
• Proficiency in computer tools; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Focus on delivering quality customer service
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
