Job Description

Purpose

  • Build and operate the Infrastructure Data Foundation as the trusted knowledge platform underpinning AI across the business.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Design and evolve the data foundation, Brookfield Infrastructure’s internal knowledge platform, including information architecture, metadata standards, semantic layer and taxonomy.
  • Work directly with the engineering team to build Snowflake data structures, ingestion pipelines and AI-enabled search/retrieval capabilities.
  • Own the quality of the knowledge platform by ensuring information is complete, current, well-catalogued and appropriately permissioned.
  • Establish governance processes and work with business functions to drive discipline around document ownership, metadata, permissions and lifecycle management across all functions.
  • Monitor platform usage, identify opportunities to improve adoption and retire low-value AI applications.
  • Help businesses identify AI use cases and assist with early prototyping.

Ideal candidate

  • Systems thinker with a passion for organizing knowledge and making information discoverable.
  • Strong product mindset, able to bridge business needs and technical implementation.
  • Excellent communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption across multiple business functions.
  • Experience in SQL/Python, Snowflake (or similar cloud data platforms) and modern AI development tools (e.g. Cortex, Claude Code, Cursor) is an asset

Comp Range: $125k to $150k CAD
