ROLE PURPOSE:

Support key account management for Ontario within the Liquor Control Boards channel, building strong customer relationships, province-specific account plans, and execution routines that deliver Diageo Canada commercial priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support with the development and ownership of the annual account plan for Ontario, aligned to national LCB channel priorities and provincial customer dynamics.
  • Manage customer relationships, meetings, issue resolution, performance reviews, and follow-up with relevant liquor board stakeholders.
  • Partner with CSP, Marketing, Supply, Finance, and Customer Marketing & Operations to execute assortment, innovation, pricing, activation, and service priorities.
  • Track sales, distribution, listing, service, promotion, and activation performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Translate brand and channel selling stories into customer-specific plans, materials, and execution requirements.
  • Coordinate with On Premise and Private Retail teams where provincial market dynamics require collaboration.
  • Ensure account activity follows regulatory, compliance, customer, and internal governance requirements.

Key Outputs:

  • Annual account plan and customer relationship plan for Ontario.
  • Customer meeting materials, action logs, and performance review decks.
  • Listing, assortment, innovation, pricing, activation, and service execution plans.
  • Opportunity/risk trackers and corrective action recommendations.
  • Cross-functional inputs for AOP, demand planning, and customer marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of sales, key account, customer management, category, or commercial experience.
  • Understanding of LCB/provincial liquor board dynamics or comparable regulated customer environments preferred.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, account planning, analytics, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional partners and manage province-specific priorities.
  • Comfort with travel and customer engagement as required by the territory.

Working with Us

Compensation Range: $57,750.00 CAD - $96,250.00 CAD
