KingTiger Testing

North York, Toronto (in-office, hybrid)

$70,000–$85,000 CAD start

About the role: KingTiger Testing is an international company that researches, designs, and manufactures computer RAM testing equipment. On the software side, our projects include tester control software as well as memory stability software operating close to bare metal. Our Canadian branch is growing and we're hiring an engineer interested in learning a specialized niche, working with AI hardware, and working alongside our R&D teams in China.

What you'll work on

  • Tester control and automation software for our RAM testing hardware
  • Novel R&D projects
  • Supporting our Linux-based AI servers used for test result analysis and tooling
  • Collaborating daily with Chinese R&D via a flexible schedule (some hours will overlap with Asia time zones — we coordinate around a few core windows)

What we're looking for

  • Solid foundation in C++, C#, and Python (all three in everyday use)
  • Comfort working on Linux servers and in terminal-driven workflows
  • Genuine willingness to learn. Our domain knowledge is niche and we'll teach it
  • Interest in hardware-adjacent and low-level software; attention to detail
  • Good communication, since much of the team is remote across time zones

Nice to have

  • Experience with test automation, hardware, memory systems, or embedded development
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tooling running on Linux servers
  • Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is highly desired but not a requirement

Why work here

  • Learn an unusual, high-margin niche few engineers know
  • Direct collaboration with world-leading memory R&D teams
  • Small team collaboration
