At BMW Toronto, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude who loves to challenge themselves.  This is an entry level role to join our accounting team as a Junior Accountant.  This position is located in downtown Toronto and is required to be onsite full time five days a week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily bank deposits and credit card payment reconciliations.
  • Accounts receivable reconciliations of customer and departmental cash clearing accounts
  • Accounts payable including coding invoices, posting and issuing payments in a timely manner.
  • Monitor floor-plan accounts to ensure payments are submitted within guidelines.
  • Review vehicle purchases and Inventory schedule maintenance
  • Administrative filing
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing
  • Other accounting duties as required by management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post secondary education with focus on accounting
  • 0-1 years of relevant accounting experience
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Previous automotive retail dealership work experience preferred but not required
