The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for the overall health, security, and performance of the organization's IT environment. Serving as the primary technical subject matter expert, this role oversees infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, cloud services, IT service management, vendor performance, end-user support, and technology projects. The position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective technology services that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead for IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and end-user computing.
Own and continuously improve IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
Manage third-party service providers, ensuring SLA compliance, service performance, and operational excellence through regular operational and service review meetings.
Lead cybersecurity activities, including vulnerability management, security hardening, incident response, and coordination with the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Azure cloud environments, including governance and cost management.
Maintain and enhance network, cloud, server, endpoint, voice, video collaboration, and data storage infrastructure across all locations.
Provide advanced technical support and deliver exceptional customer service to users through remote and onsite assistance.
Ensure data protection through appropriate access controls, backup, archiving, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum five years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, and technology operations.
Demonstrated experience managing outsourced service providers and service delivery against established SLAs.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, networking, and cybersecurity technologies.
Experience with Cisco, Extreme Networks, SD-WAN, and modern cloud-based infrastructure environments is preferred.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, incident response, and ITSM frameworks.
Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
