The Investment Analyst will conduct financial analysis, perform market research, present target assessments, and assist the M&A team with various tasks related to acquisitions.

Partner One is looking for a Due Diligence Analyst to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent role. The Due Diligence Analyst will be a part of the Mergers and Acquisition team and will be responsible for supporting activities related to due diligence, and execution of acquisitions.
Responsibilities- Conduct overview and analysis of commercial and financial data of acquisition targets.
- Formulate and present the assessment of the acquisition targets’ initial fit.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and recognize new acquisition opportunities.
- Identify software businesses that meet our acquisition criteria/metrics and move opportunities through the deal cycle.
- Support the M&A team with various ad hoc tasks related to the closing of live deals.
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams for data requests, information sharing, project team meetings and deal execution.
Requirements
- Up to 2 years of experience in Corporate Development and M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Transaction Advisory/Consulting is a must
- Demonstrated strong academic performance at a top-tier institution
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field; CPA or CFA track is a significant plus
- Maturity and presence to interact with C-level executives
- Self-starter with strong sales and communication skills
- Strong analytical and Excel skill with attention to detail
